The person from Hogwarts who came to explain the school situation to them (as Snape told Lily in DH) would have explained how to pass through the barrier. Presumably a Muggle can do so if they know that the passage is there. It's also possible that the barrier will only pass students and their families. Otherwise, the members of the Order who were waiting for Harry at the end of OOTP would have been on Platform 9-3/4 instead of waiting for him outside the barrier, where the Dursleys were as well. 2. Hi Adlina, I've been a Harry Potter fan sence the first movie came out. Have all the movies (well the ones out on DVD that is) and I have all the books. I have read the books maybe about 15 times (or more ) hard to keep tract after the first 10 times.

John: You know, Snape's just a character in a series of books -- he's not a real person. You're not speaking ill of the dead if you don't say wonderful, nice things about him. He was a pretty rotten person, all in all. He was petty, selfish, vindictive, vengeful. A lot of what he did was motivated by either self-interest or remorse. He did a lot of things to be sorry for, but the only thing he really seemed to regret was losing his friendship with Lily, and that was because he couldn't have things with her the way he wanted, i.e. having her be a Slytherin and not be a Muggle-born. If he'd been a good person at heart he wouldn't have treated Harry or the other students the way he did. He did fight against Voldemort until the end, and can be commended for that, but he stood more in the Dark than in the light. I think what kept him from becoming completely evil was the feelings he had for Lily, and for the life debt he owed her and James for betraying them to Voldemort. __._,_.___  __,_._,___

Personaly, I hated him from the first page he turned up on.. But after I read the last book and digested everything that had happend; I saw him in a diffrent light and began to understand him. I honestly feel that Severus Snape is a good man, and he had his reasons for doing what he did in the end. He might have been a different person, if Lily would have married him instead of James, it's simple yet complicated... Severus Snape had problems in his childhood and school years, so I doubt he could have fully forgived James or anyone else that didn't really like him in the end.

Thanks,Paul for your comments.I think no one would like to have a teacher like him,especially with the way he bullies Neville in the third part and harry,for most part of the series. Though he doesn't make a nice teacher,I would still say that he was the best in the magical and Dark Arts after Dumbeldore and Voldemort during potter's era.

Personaly, I hated him from the first page he turned up on. But after I read the last book and digested everything that had happend; I saw him in a diffrent light and began to understand him. Yes he was a complet butt wipe but in the end we found out he was not a traitor and he did what he had to, to protect everyone. Yes he hated Harry and yes he had a bad life, but now I like him (I'm not saying I would have liked him as a teacher though)

Hello! I'm looking for a story but i can only remember a bit of it..it's where Harry has a peice of LV soul in him n he ends up (for whatever reason) going to LV to make a deal which he accepts, but LV also knows that HP is one of his hortux (can't spell now)...i think he makes a comment about it n seemed to back HP in a corner where he will protect him from harm but i might be getting it mixed up w/ another..
